POSITION SUMMARY
The Store Manager supervises and coordinates operations, including accounting and finance, sales activities and goals, supervision of employees, customer service, inventory control, and other administrative and management functions consistent with the company’s policies and objectives. Additionally, the Store Manager provides support to the District Manager and ensures that the store embodies the company’s standards for customer service excellence for all customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Daily Store Operations: Manage and monitor all aspects of store operations to ensure customer satisfaction and team professionalism.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Handle customer complaints with honesty, integrity, and a friendly attitude, ensuring prompt resolution.
Ensure Product Quality & Efficiency: Maintain speed, accuracy, and efficiency in the creation and delivery of eyewear products.
Cultivate a Positive Work Environment: Foster a warm, vibrant, and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Lead Team Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with staff to improve customer service, streamline operations, and achieve sales goals.
Train & Support Team Members: Provide ongoing training and support to staff, promoting a strong work ethic and professional growth.
Eyewear Fitting & Assembly: Adjust, fit, and assemble eyeglasses to meet individual customer preferences and prescriptions.
Lead by Example: Demonstrate high standards of service and professionalism, setting the tone for the team.
Build Team Commitment: Encourage collaboration and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Maintain Service Excellence: Continuously uphold and improve service standards through leadership and team engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS/ CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent (G.E.D)
Associate degree in opticianry or at least some postsecondary education preferred
ABO Certification
1 year of experience in retail Store Management
Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to operate the store including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship-building skills
Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
Optical: 1 year (Preferred)
Management: 1 year (Required)
ABO Certification (Preferred - after entering the company, you need to get the certification in 3 months)
