POSITION SUMMARY
A Japanese food manufacturing company seeks a Japanese bilingual Production Coordinator to join their team in Madison, NE. This position ensures high-quality export pork products with minimal defects for the Japanese market by inspecting at suppliers' plants, coordinating improvements, monitoring shipping, and verifying documents for timely delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Inspect products and coordinate with production.
*Manage weekly orders and shipping schedules.
*Ensure damage-free loading and daily communication with Japanese partners.
*Report feedback and improve quality with the production team.
*Build relationships at the supplier's plant and reduce claims.
*Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Fluent in Japanese (speak, read, write basic Japanese) and English
Four Years College Degree or equivalent
Effective oral and written communication skills required
Must be an adaptable team player with customer service orientation
Must be an analytical problem solver with attention to detail
BASE SALARY $23-$26/hr (DOE)
