POSITION SUMMARY
This position plays a key role in supporting plant operations through accurate financial reporting and data analysis. Working closely with manufacturing teams, you will handle cost accounting, monitor operational results, and assist with various accounting tasks to ensure efficiency and compliance. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely and accurate collection, verification, and reporting of production data for cost accounting purposes.
Manage and organize all plant-related paperwork in support of the Plant Controller.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve division objectives.
Develop and review internal controls for data accumulation and reporting systems.
Perform cost accumulation tasks and maintain accurate bill of material standard costs.
Verify operational data and prepare detailed reports using Excel (e.g., inventory summaries, production tracking, maintenance/supply orders).
Assist in analyzing capital budgeting requests and provide financial insights.
Collaborate with the Plant Controller to resolve production-related issues and contribute to special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (cost/management accounting preferred)
3–5 years of experience, ideally in food processing
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in dynamic environments
Bilingual (Japanese/English or English/Spanish) preferred
SALARY USD 48,000-52,000 (DOE)
