RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is Non-Exempt Position which involves managing and maintaining customer accounts, addressing inquiries from various sources including factories, contract manufacturers, and OEMs, and overseeing customer demand by utilizing forecasting and inventory management techniques. Tasks also include entering orders into the ERP system, scheduling assemblies, and coordinating shipments. Communication with buyers to ensure order follow-up is essential. Updating customer orders through WebEDI or Open Order Reports, managing returned materials (RMAs), distributing marketing tools such as catalogs and manuals, organizing and managing quotations, and undertaking additional projects as assigned by management are also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, general clerical duties are performed to support the smooth operation of the tasks at hand.
REQUIREMENTS
- English [e.g., speaking, reading, and writing], Japanese is a plus
- Experienced in manufacturing or distribution industries
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service or support role
- Experienced in project management, forecasting, and inventory control
- Experienced in computer skills (e.g., ERP or MRP, Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Capable of effectively handling all aspects of order and delivery schedules of overseas production programs
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills (e.g., lead-time and schedule arrangement)
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service
- Team player
SALARY
$47K - $50K/annual or DOE (salary negotiable)
