POSITION SUMMARY
A global electronic components manufacturer is seeking a Data Analyst to support its sales organization across North America.
This role is highly impactful—driving revenue growth by delivering actionable insights, maintaining accurate forecasting, supporting ERP operations, and conducting targeted market research.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and analyze an eight-month sales forecast
Monitor daily order and sales progress; identify data anomalies
Create weekly/monthly order and sales reports
Support audit-related requests (IMDS, PPAP/PSW, 8D reports)
Assist with mid- and long-term sales planning
Maintain and register new materials in the ERP system (SAP/OASIS)
Provide ERP user support, training, troubleshooting, and coordination with IT
Conduct market research upon request from sales or management
Support sales inquiries efficiently to ensure objectives are met
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication skills
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Data mining and large-scale data handling capabilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Japanese (spoken and written) language skills preferred
SALARY USD 55,000-65,000
LOCATION Chicago, IL
