POSITION SUMMARY
Global Japanese company is seeking a Digital Transformation Program Lead to oversee technology-driven initiatives that modernize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
This role involves managing cross-functional projects, engaging directly with client stakeholders, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the organization.
It offers the opportunity to lead high-impact transformation programs and expand into broader digital strategy responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program & Project Management (Primary Focus)
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation initiatives, from planning to execution.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Align project activities with business objectives and operational needs.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
- Support implementation and user adoption of digital platforms and process improvements.
Client Engagement
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.
- Participate in onsite activities within the Greater Los Angeles area as needed.
- Translate business needs into structured project plans and actionable workstreams.
Business Development Support (Secondary Focus)
- Identify potential project opportunities within existing or prospective client accounts.
- Support development of solution proposals and project scoping.
- Assist sales and delivery teams during pre-sales discussions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and supporting materials.
- Participate in post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management, digital transformation, or technology consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and digital platforms.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional or distributed project teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, client-oriented environment.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery models
Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms
SALARY $70,000 - $100,000 per year
