POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the Japanese-Loan Manager in managing of Japanese-Loan origination, monitoring loan portfolio, managing regular reports, participating monthly Loan Committee Meetings, and other loan related functions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain potential client opportunities through cold calling and client visits.
Introduce and promote loans and deposits
Notify the clients of borrowing conditions (the interest rate, etc.)
Assist Loan Origination Management
Seek approval from the Head Office for new Loans.
Remit the funds to the client’s account upon approval.
Create regular and occasional reports for the Head Office.
Regular Reports and Meeting Management
Prepare various reports required by the Head Office, the General Manager of The Branch or Regulatory Authorities in accordance with The Branch’s policies and procedures, Business Notice from the Head Office and other regulations.
Assess all loan assets quarterly in compliance with such Self-Assessment Manual and under the Code of Japanese Law.
Others
Reporting to the Head Office.
English translation and Japanese translation.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Senior Deputy General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university.
Some experience preferred but not required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience as above.
Skills and Abilities
Language: English -Business level, Japanese -Native level fluency.
Computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Internal Databases.
Must be tactful, mature, flexible, and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
Must be able to productively convey ideas and information.
SALARY USD 45,000–55,000 per year + Bonus
Total Annual Compensation: Approximately USD 50,000–60,000
