POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is a globally operating IT services company that provides comprehensive solutions across various industries. Their offerings include IT infrastructure design and operations, system development, technical support, project management, and business development. In this position, you will be responsible for project management and technical support, primarily in the infrastructure domain. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from end-user support and system implementation to team operations and sales support.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Support, Coordination & Analysis

  • Provide end-user support via phone, email, and on-site visits.

  • Install, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software.

  • Configure and maintain PCs and network systems.

  • Conduct site surveys and client meetings to gather requirements.

  • Prepare comprehensive proposals and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Support Microsoft Server, Oracle/MSSQL, and backup systems.

  • Maintain data accuracy in systems such as Active Directory.

  • Define and manage service level standards.

  • Analyze client issues and understand their business and IT strategies.

 

2. IT Development, Configuration & Maintenance

  • Design, build, and manage IT infrastructure for security, performance, and disaster recovery.

  • Provide consulting and project management for outsourcing clients.

  • Offer feedback to development teams during IT planning and implementation.

  • Design ICT systems aligned with client strategies and ensure non-functional requirements (performance, availability, recoverability).

  • Perform on-site and remote maintenance, including customization.

 

3. Project Management

  • Define project scope, schedule, and deliverables.

  • Manage full project lifecycle: proposal, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Handle budgeting, procurement, and documentation.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.

  • Contribute to short- and long-term IT planning and package selection strategies.

 

4. Team Support & Collaboration

  • Mentor and support team members’ skill development and motivation.

 

5. Knowledge Sharing & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

 

6. Documentation & Workflow Management

  • Accurately document processes, analysis results, and reports.

  • Support additional project-related tasks as needed.

 

7. Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead and manage project teams, assign and review tasks.

  • Oversee work schedules, leave, expenses, and performance evaluations.

 

8. Communication & Reporting

  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams.

  • Provide regular updates and maintain clear communication via phone, email, and business trips.

 

9. Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Engage with project stakeholders and build strong client relationships through excellent service.

 

10. General Operations

  • Research equipment and tailor system specifications to client needs.

  • Manage support for peripherals and mobile devices.

  • Resolve site-specific system issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

11. Business Development & Planning

  • Develop strategies and report project status regularly.

  • Identify and support new business opportunities.

  • Assist in proposal creation, presentations, and client follow-ups.

  • Support sales activities and manage customer/vendor communications.

  • Participate in regional and global IT projects.

 

12. Research & Marketing

  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and develop new services.

  • Analyze client industries to identify needs and sales opportunities.

  • Gather information on new products and potential clients.

 

13. Invoice & Payment Management

  • Manage proposals, quotes, purchase orders, acceptance letters, and invoices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Japanese proficiency may be required).

  • Windows PC and Microsoft software installation: 3+ years

  • Windows and small network systems: 3+ years

  • IT infrastructure construction and consulting: 5+ years

  • Project management: 2–3 years

  • Business development: 1+ year

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

WORK STYLE Hybrid work: In-person office attendance required 2 days per week

 

OTHER

  • Occasional overtime, weekend work, and business travel may be required.
