POSITION TITLE Associate Manager, Real Estate Investments
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will support a wide range of real estate investment activities within the U.S. market. Your responsibilities will include underwriting, market research, transaction support, and the management of existing investment projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build detailed financial models for real estate investment opportunities
Review investment materials including memorandums, rent rolls, Argus files, and financial statements
Maintain relationships with key partners and manage the deal pipeline
Conduct market and submarket research, including competitive analysis
Coordinate due diligence activities (inspections, third‑party reports, lender documentation)
Monitor progress of existing investments, including review of monthly/quarterly reports and KPIs
Prepare documentation and reports for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with brokers, partners, developers, and lenders
Provide comprehensive administrative support for U.S. office operations
QUALIFICATIONS
Native-level English proficiency; business-level Japanese preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field
3–7 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investments, or capital markets
Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; Argus experience preferred
Understanding of U.S. commercial real estate markets and underwriting practices
Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking abilities
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Underwriting experience in multifamily, logistics, or office asset classes
Knowledge of JV structures and waterfall models
Experience working with Japanese or multinational organizations
LOCATION El Segundo, CA (Hybrid work available)
