POSITION TITLE Sales Manager – Asian Market

 

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for expanding product sales through partnerships with distributors and end customers in the Asian market. The position involves strategic planning for foodservice and Asian grocery channels, conducting product training, and supporting marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Asia sales team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing programs to achieve annual revenue and profit goals

  • Collaborate with regional sales and senior leadership on brand strategy

  • Drive new product development and pricing strategies

  • Analyze consumer trends and market research data

  • Manage sales activities across Asian grocery and foodservice accounts

  • Maintain product displays and inventory levels in stores

  • Build strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities

  • Support promotional activities including POS placement and store resets

  • Participate in trade shows and special events

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

  • Attend internal meetings and team huddles (domestic and international)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in Japanese and English (Korean or Chinese is a plus)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grocery retail sales with proven results

  • Strong organizational and management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance meeting company standards

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with ease and dexterity

  • Willingness to work in store and warehouse environments, including frequent bending and squatting

  • Must maintain a professional image when representing the company to customers and the community

  • Responsible for maintaining company vehicle in good condition

  • Punctuality and time management are essential

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, and meet internal driving record standards

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Willingness to travel for meetings, store visits, and distributor ride-alongs
