POSITION TITLE General Manager (Full-Time)
POSITION SUMMARY
A new Japanese restaurant concept is launching in Spring 2026 in downtown Bentonville, and our client is seeking a General Manager to lead its opening and operations. This multi-concept space will feature yakitori, ramen, sushi, and innovative grab-and-go options, offering a dynamic and interactive dining experience.
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s launch and daily operations, including recruiting guest chefs for weekly food concerts, building community partnerships, and leading a team focused on delivering a curated and stylish guest experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape the business model from the ground up and grow into a strategic leadership role as the concept expands nationally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all restaurant operations, including full P&L responsibility, from buildout to launch
Develop and manage SOPs and recipe database
Hire, train, and manage BOH and FOH teams across multiple concepts
Ensure organizational visibility across inventory, costing, tipping, revenue, and reporting
Continuously iterate and improve operations
Coordinate with a distributed team across locations (virtually and asynchronously)
Maintain consistency in guest experience during food concerts
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM
Proven P&L management experience
Strong familiarity with Japanese cuisine, terminology, and service standards
Experience in restaurant openings
Proficiency in GSuite, Slack, Toast, and inventory software
Cultural sensitivity and a balance of warmth and discipline
LOCATION Bentonville, Arkansas
SALARY USD 80,000 and up (negotiable based on experience and skills)
