POSITION SUMMARY
Join a dynamic team at a soon-to-open Sacramento office! We’re looking for a bilingual (English/Japanese) Administrative & Sales Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both office operations and sales activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Office Administration: Maintain office cleanliness, organize supplies, and serve refreshments to visitors.
* Sales Support: Enter sales orders, generate daily sales reports, and assist with credit references.
* Invoicing: Create invoices with supporting documents and communicate route/inventory details to sales staff.
* Accounts Receivable (A/R): Process check/cash deposits, handle ACH requests, and respond to customer inquiries.
* Accounts Payable (A/P): Process expense invoices, submit POs, and manage vendor communications.
* Purchasing & Receiving: Prepare purchase orders, receiving worksheets, and enter received items into the system.
* Inventory Management: Conduct inventory checks, enter physical counts, and assist with month-end inventory.
* Credit & Adjustments: Enter returns, disposals, and corrections to maintain accurate inventory records.
* HR & Employee Support: Track attendance, submit HR forms, and prepare documents for new hires.
* Logistics & Compliance: Prepare shipping documents (FedEx/Air Cargo), manage HACCP logs, and support audits.
* Perform other related duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
* College degree or equivalent preferred
* 1–2 years of experience as an office administrator or in a similar role
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and email
* Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
* Japanese/English bilingual ability is a plus
BASE SALARY $21 – $25 (depending on experience)
