POSITION SUMMARY
A Japanese food trading corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to join their team at the San Francisco branch. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, with success driven by a solid understanding of the sales process and excellent interpersonal skills. The Sales Associate will be responsible for managing existing accounts within their assigned territory and contributing to overall sales growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit customer sites to maintain relationships and grow business
Sell company products and provide high-level customer service
Understand and execute sales plans, pricing, and product promotions
Collaborate with internal teams (accounting, logistics, operations) to support sales goals
Report sales activities and market feedback regularly
Assist with inventory counts and other assigned duties
QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual proficiency in Chinese or Japanese, or Korean / English required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the food trading industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and conversation skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
Willingness to travel to customer locations.
SALARY USD 51,600- 88,200 Base (DOE) + Annual Bonus
