Our client is the North American subsidiary of a global company with approximately 180 employees and 28 offices worldwide. In North America, the company has offices in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Boston, Richmond (Virginia), and Toronto, Canada.
Their mission is to accelerate innovation, new business creation, revenue growth, and green transition through cost-effective, results-driven global engagement.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily focused on sales and marketing. It aims to strengthen relationships with Asian—primarily Japanese—corporations and corporate venture capital (CVC) arms based in North America, with the goal of expanding corporate development services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct outreach to prospective clients
Preparing client proposals and strategies (in both English and Japanese)
Participating in networking events
Planning and executing marketing events in Silicon Valley and other U.S. tech hubs
Collaborating closely with global teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (any field)
Legal authorization to live and work permanently in the U.S.
Fluency in English and Japanese, with strong writing and presentation skills
Experience in one or more of the following:
・Working in the innovation or international business development team of a Japanese corporation (including CVCs)
・Working in a strategic consultancy supporting Japanese corporations in innovation or international business development
