POSITION TITLE Accounting Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves as a management role that leads the accounting organization in the U.S. office. It is a highly strategic position responsible for overseeing the finance, consolidation, FP&A, and internal controls of the holding company and its multiple subsidiaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage monthly/quarterly consolidation and review intercompany transactions
Oversee financial reporting packages from subsidiaries
Coordinate external audits and tax filings
Develop accounting policies and manuals
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Analyze KPIs and propose cost‑reduction or profitability improvements
Manage global cash flow, funding strategies, and FX hedging
Maintain J‑SOX controls and support process improvements
Implement and optimize ERP and BI tools
Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting team members
Oversee entity accounting (GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets) and approve entries/payments
Communicate with Japan headquarters as needed
Support special projects including M&A, CVC, impairment, and system migration
Handle general office administration and legal document management
QUALIFICATIONS
7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial roles
Strong background in consolidation, audit coordination, and financial analysis
Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and logical reasoning skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred)

SALARY USD70,000-90,000
