POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain to provide strategic leadership across our end-to-end network. In this role, you will drive supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, and commercialization processes to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and brand-aligned product flow. Rather than overseeing daily warehouse operations, you’ll focus on supplier and 3PL management, logistics strategy, import/export compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is based in the Los Angeles area with periodic travel to key locations, including our Bakersfield plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership – Define and execute long-term supply chain strategy aligned with corporate goals for growth, cost optimization, and sustainability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D, and Quality to ensure seamless commercialization and change control.
Supplier & Logistics Management – Lead supplier and 3PL selection, negotiation, compliance, and oversee logistics including import/export and freight optimization.
Inventory & Planning – Align supply plans with demand forecasts, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate production scheduling.
S&OP Leadership – Drive the Sales & Operations Planning process, integrating forecasts, supply constraints, and financial targets.
Commercialization & Change Control – Manage new product introductions, implement change control systems, and accelerate time-to-market for innovations.
Continuous Improvement & Systems – Enhance ERP and analytics, utilize KPIs, and champion Lean/Six Sigma to improve efficiency and compliance.
Leadership & Talent Development – Mentor and develop a high-performing team, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and oversee succession planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
APICS CPIM/CSCP and Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
10+ years of supply chain experience in food, beverage, or CPG; 5+ years in leadership roles.
Proven success in ERP implementation and process transformation.
Experience with S&OP, supplier management, and import/export logistics.
Advanced ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Strong data analysis and visualization (Power BI, Tableau)
Expertise in supply chain, S&OP, inventory optimization
Excellent leadership and communication
Ability to manage ambiguity and influence stakeholders
Knowledge of food/beverage regulations (FDA, FSSC 22000, GMP)
BASE SALARY USD120,000 - 160,000 (DOE)
