POSITION TITLE Pastry Chef

 

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is for a Pastry Chef who will be responsible for producing a wide variety of baked goods and desserts, including cakes, cookies, and tarts. As a third-party recruiting agency, we are supporting our client in identifying talented individuals who can contribute to a high-quality pastry production environment. The role involves managing all stages of the production process—from measuring and mixing ingredients to baking and decorating—while maintaining strict hygiene and quality standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare and produce various pastries such as sponge cakes, roll cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, and cookies

  • Manage the entire production process from dough preparation to baking and final decoration

  • Ensure consistent quality in taste and appearance

  • Maintain personal and kitchen hygiene, adhering to food safety standards

  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, including ordering, receiving, and inspection

  • Develop new products based on seasonal trends and market preferences

  • Create and produce special items for events such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day

  • Collaborate with store and kitchen managers to improve operations, equipment, and team development

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • No educational requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a pastry chef

  • Basic or higher proficiency in English and Japanese

  • Spanish language skills are a plus

 

LOCATION To be discussed (multiple store locations available)

 

SCHEDULED DAYS OFF 1 to 2 days per week

 

SALARY Hourly wage: $23–$25 (paid bi-weekly)
