POSITION TITLE Pastry Chef
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for a Pastry Chef who will be responsible for producing a wide variety of baked goods and desserts, including cakes, cookies, and tarts. As a third-party recruiting agency, we are supporting our client in identifying talented individuals who can contribute to a high-quality pastry production environment. The role involves managing all stages of the production process—from measuring and mixing ingredients to baking and decorating—while maintaining strict hygiene and quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and produce various pastries such as sponge cakes, roll cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, and cookies
Manage the entire production process from dough preparation to baking and final decoration
Ensure consistent quality in taste and appearance
Maintain personal and kitchen hygiene, adhering to food safety standards
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, including ordering, receiving, and inspection
Develop new products based on seasonal trends and market preferences
Create and produce special items for events such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day
Collaborate with store and kitchen managers to improve operations, equipment, and team development
QUALIFICATIONS
No educational requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a pastry chef
Basic or higher proficiency in English and Japanese
Spanish language skills are a plus
LOCATION To be discussed (multiple store locations available)
SCHEDULED DAYS OFF 1 to 2 days per week
SALARY Hourly wage: $23–$25 (paid bi-weekly)
