JOB OVERVIEW
A prominent pet food manufacturer seeks a dynamic Key Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you'll foster relationships with retailers and distributors, driving continuous sales growth. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the main point of contact for customers and distributors.
• Analyze sales data to predict future trends and profitability.
• Participate in performance reviews and market presentations.
• Regularly engage with existing accounts to meet their needs and foster long-term partnerships.
• Expand the customer and distributor base to boost sales volume.
• Develop and execute strategies to effectively promote products and meet customer demands.
• Provide input for sales forecasts and production planning.
• Address customer complaints regarding products and sales.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to determine pricing, promotions, and credit terms.
• Keep a close watch on market trends and competitor activities.
• Manage expenses within budgetary constraints.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while upholding a professional image.
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the pet food industry preferred.
• Proficient in analyzing trends and data.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
• Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective time management skills with adaptability to a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently or spend significant time in transit.
• Holds a valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than three violations in the last two years and no more than one at-fault accident in the past three years).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
• Able to commute to the office.
