POSITION SUMMARY
A bilingual Product Coordinator is sought to support the live operations of a mobile or console game title. This role serves as a key liaison between Japanese development teams and the U.S.-based production team. The position offers a potential career path toward Associate Producer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary contact between Japanese developers and the U.S. production team
Monitor product updates and maintenance schedules
Translate materials between Japanese and English accurately
Collect and share fan feedback with development teams
Coordinate social media and marketing content requests
Review and validate in-game and official messaging
Propose ideas for tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise for live events
Support KPI data analysis
Assist the COO with administrative and operational tasks
Ensure timely delivery of announcements and communications
REQUIREMENTS or QUALIFICATIONS
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1–2 years of experience in localization or a similar role
Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for the gaming industry and eagerness to grow
