POSITION TITLE Credit Officer

Major bank in NYC is looking for Japanese Bilingual Credit Officer. This position requires the person to commute to office Hybrid style.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review credit applications submitted by front office and prepare executive summaries and recommendations for senior management
Analyze lending transactions and related financial products (derivatives, hedging, etc.)
Assess financial performance, monitor risk events, and report key developments
Support due diligence and deal structuring in collaboration with front office
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in credit risk (formal credit training preferred)
Strong knowledge of corporate finance practices; Bachelor’s degree required (MBA/CFA preferred)
Excellent analytical, IT, and communication skills
Business-level Japanese preferred but not required

SALARY USD85,000-130,000
