POSITION TITLE HR & Administrative Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

In this position, you will take on a wide range of HR and administrative responsibilities that support the overall operations of the organization. You will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience by managing processes from recruiting and onboarding to compliance and office administration, making this a highly impactful and rewarding role within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

HR Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and leave

  • Address and document employee concerns, escalate when appropriate

  • Communicate with benefit providers and agents (401K, benefits, payroll deductions, etc.)

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Create and update job descriptions and related documents

  • Review resumes, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews

  • Prepare background checks, offer letters, and new-hire documentation

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and orientation procedures

Compliance & Safety

  • Assist with maintaining and updating employee handbooks and company policies

  • Support disciplinary documentation as needed

  • Maintain required HR and safety documentation

Administrative Support

  • Arrange travel (hotel, rental car, flights, etc.)

  • Coordinate housing and vehicle arrangements for long-term visitors

  • Provide local information to visitors

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized company

  • Experience with recruitment and HR administration

  • Ability to read, write, and present effectively in English

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to analyze business documents (contracts, purchase orders, etc.)

  • Basic mathematical skills (percentages, interest, algebra, geometry)

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

  • Flexibility and capability to manage multiple tasks

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Japanese bilingual skills (Not required)

SALARYBENEFITS
