POSITION TITLE Cargo Vessel Operator
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is deeply involved in the maritime industry that supports international logistics. It allows you to gain hands-on global experience through assisting vessel operations, while taking responsibility for a broad range of tasks such as communication with overseas partners and coordination with port agents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor vessel operating status and movements
Prepare and send voyage instructions; coordinate appointments with port agents
Issue freight invoices to charterers and arrange remittances to port agents
Communicate with vessel captains and port agents via phone and email
Arrange fuel and lubricant supplies for vessels
Assist with crew arrangements
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Spanish language skills are a plus
LOCATION Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey (On-site work)
SALARY USD50,000-60,000
