POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Planning & Sales Manager leads strategic planning, financial management, and sales operations for the organization. This role works closely with executive leadership to drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing forecasting, budgeting, performance management, and sales administration to ensure the business achieves its commercial and financial objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead annual and mid‑term business planning, sales strategy, and forecasting
* Build KPIs, dashboards, and performance management tools
* Improve profitability through pricing, product mix, and channel strategy
* Ensure strong financial controls, pricing governance, and contract management
* Grow sales, identify new business opportunities, and manage key customer relationships
* Oversee sales operations including CRM, reporting, and workflow optimization
* Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Production
* Support financial modeling for new products/channels and key strategic initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
* 8+ years of experience in business planning, commercial finance, or sales operations, preferably in food & beverage or FMCG.
* Japanese/English Bilingual (Speak, Read, and Write)
* Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Strong strategic thinking and financial modeling capabilities.
* Advanced Excel and presentation skills; ERP and CRM experience required.
