JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a well-connected individual in the North American tech scene with a proven track record in sourcing, driving, and closing new business opportunities. Are you passionate about facilitating international business expansion? This role entails identifying and engaging new clients for expansion into Asia's dynamic markets. As part of the North American Business Development team, you'll interact with top tech innovators, develop proposals, close deals, and ensure ongoing client engagement. Expect occasional travel within North America and Asia.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proven track record in sourcing, driving, and closing new business opportunities
- Passion for facilitating international business expansion
- Identify, engage, and sign up new clients for expansion into Asia's markets
- Business development consultancy with expertise in the Asian market
- Focus on technologies addressing global challenges
- Expansion of the North American Business Development team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Native/fluent English proficiency (essential for internal and external communication)
- Ideally, knowledge of Asian markets
- Understanding of the North American business and tech environment
- Genuine interest in technology, sustainability, and international business
- 5 years+ of sales/business development experience in relevant technology sectors
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- University degree in business, management, Asian studies, or a technical/engineering field
- Permanent legal right to live and work in the US
- Ideally based in Silicon Valley or near Boston, but remote locations will be considered.
