POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for managing relationships with distributors, securing new business, and executing sales strategies to expand the company's footprint in the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow relationships with other key distributors and wholesale partners across the West Coast.
Work closely with distributors to ensure optimal inventory levels, strong product visibility, and effective brand representation.
Enhance sales performance through price negotiations, promotions, and marketing activities.
Conduct sales presentations, product tastings, and distributor training sessions to educate potential customers.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to coordinate promotional activities, regional activations, and brand campaigns.
Gather market information and competitor insights to provide feedback for improving sales strategies.
Monitor weekly and monthly sales performance to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking customer interactions, order history, and distributor activities.
Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager, outlining sales trends, key achievements, and potential challenges.
Act as a brand ambassador at trade shows, distributor meetings, and industry events.
Ensure all sales materials and messaging align with the company's brand identity and positioning.
Support sampling events and community marketing activities to enhance brand awareness.
Conduct regular visits to the regional branch and other key accounts across the West Coast.
Travel as needed to support distributor meetings, industry events/trade shows, and sales opportunities within the region.
QUALIFICATIONSAND REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in sales, distributor management, or business development in the beverage, CPG, or food service industry.
Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese and English (required).
Strong Knowledge of Regional Branches and Other Asian Distributor Networks in the U.S. Market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Proficiency with CRM software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Ability to carry product samples as needed.
Willingness to be based in Los Angeles and travel regularly across the West Coast region.
SALARYBase Salary: USD50,000 + Bonus Program (New Account Bonus + Sales Target Bonus)
