POSITION TITLE Store Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, aiming to maximize both sales and customer satisfaction through the effective management of personnel, products, and revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Management
Hiring, training, and developing front-line staff
Creating and managing shift schedules; analyzing workforce needs
Handling labor management tasks (timecards, onboarding/offboarding, personnel files, workers' compensation)
Fostering teamwork and boosting staff motivation
Guiding and training kitchen managers
Product & Merchandising
Ordering and managing inventory of supplies and materials
Ensuring proper product display and merchandising
Updating POS systems and materials for new products or price changes
Designing and installing promotional signage
Preparing records and forecasts for future inventory needs
Sales & Financial Management
Daily sales reconciliation and review
Forecasting and analyzing sales trends
Managing labor and operational costs in coordination with ownership
Customer Service
Understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality service
Monitoring and improving operations across all shifts
Additional Duties
Ensuring store safety and compliance (IIPP implementation, inspections by health, fire, and water departments)
Reporting and collaborating with ownership and other store managers
Improving operational efficiency
Supporting kitchen operations and staff training
Procuring necessary equipment and supplies
Troubleshooting and coordinating repairs with vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
No educational requirements
Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in the food and beverage industry
Bilingual in Japanese and English (Spanish is a plus)
Basic PC skills (Gmail, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
LOCATION Tustin, CA
SCHEDULED DAYS OFF 1 to 2 days per week
SALARY Hourly wage: $25–$30 (paid bi-weekly)
