Senior Solution Engineer_Autonomous Driving

Responsibilities

• Support sales with in-depth knowledge of autonomous driving software and hardware, focusing on on-vehicle reference designs and system interoperability.
• Customize product configurations to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with researchers to influence our technology roadmap based on market requirements.
• Deliver technical proposals, demonstrations, and customer training.
• Serve as a key technical contact for client inquiries.
• Analyze and communicate technical information to internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Document software design and specifications for a diverse audience.
• Collaborate with global teams to identify market opportunities and contribute to new product planning.
   

Job Requirements

• MS or PhD in relevant engineering field, or BS with industry-leading experience.
• 5+ years of experience in autonomous vehicles, robotic system building, or automotive vehicles.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proven track record in managing complex cross-functional projects.

Preferred Experiences

• Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based systems.
• Experience with ROS or ROS 2.
• Software development for safety-critical systems.
• Involvement in open-source software projects.
• Background in time-sensitive or mission-critical system software development.
• Previous experience with a Japanese company is a plus.
