POSITION TITLE Sales Account Executive

POSITION SUMMARY

A global organization is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive business growth through consultative selling of IT and network solutions. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions that meet complex business needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prospect and acquire new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition 

  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales 

  • Present and communicate value propositions, key differentiators, and competitive positioning to decision-makers, including C-level executives 

  • Identify and qualify opportunities to sell IT solutions (network infrastructure, cloud, custom applications) 

  • Cultivate long-term relationships and build trust with executives and key stakeholders 

  • Leverage industry trends to create compelling value propositions addressing client needs 

  • Manage day-to-day client requirements, report progress, and identify new business opportunities 

  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams for pre- and post-sales activities 

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain pipeline health 

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team success 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred 

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, preferably in telecommunications 

  • Proven experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning 

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels, including executives 

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills 

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities 

  • Time management skills for self and team coordination
