Senior Machine Builder Position Available!

As a key member of the project team, you'll collaborate closely with the Technician, Controls, and Mechanical Engineering teams to design, build, program, and deploy custom automated equipment and solutions across diverse industries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bring mechanical drawings and 3D models to life through precise equipment assembly.
• Contribute to designs and engage in all aspects of equipment build, start-up/debug, and installation.
• Document and communicate changes and challenges effectively.
• Maintain stringent quality standards at all stages.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with build and installation requirements.
• Promote a culture of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the work environment, emphasizing 5S principles.
• Safely and effectively operate a variety of shop equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred vocational education in a related field.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills.
• Ability to interpret part and assembly drawings.
• Demonstrated mechanical assembly experience prioritizing safety and quality.
• Physical agility to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10-20% of the time.
• Experience supervising other builders and subcontractors is advantageous.
• Ideal candidates will have approximately 10 years of experience in building automation equipment from scratch.

SALARY
USD 80,000 - 100,000
