POSITION TITLE Risk & Control Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
A global financial institution is looking for Risk and Control Analyst at their organization. The position requires for a person to commute to NYC office Hybrid.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and execute Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
Conduct Vendor Risk Assessments, Model Risk Assessments, and Business Continuity–related evaluations
Analyze risk data to identify trends and areas requiring attention
Perform deep dives to evaluate control design and operational effectiveness
Challenge risk assumptions during scenario analysis
Maintain risk registers
Support risk evaluation within the New Product Approval process
Research relevant regulatory updates and industry risk trends
Contribute to operational risk initiatives and projects
Support risk awareness and training sessions across the organization
Prepare operational risk reports and materials for management
Provide independent analysis and challenge on key risk indicators and major operational risks
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
4–5 years of operational risk experience within a financial institution
Strong analytical thinking and foundational risk management knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Flexibility and skill in balancing shifting priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
LOCATION New York, NY (Hybrid—minimum two days in office per week)
