IT Infrastructure Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Windows Expertise:

• Navigate Windows Server 2012 or above with finesse, from installation to troubleshooting.
  Tackle Active Directory configurations and troubleshooting challenges.
• Harness PowerShell for efficient data backup and migration.

Hardware Support:

• Address hardware issues, including RAID failures, with precision.

Virtualization Vision:

• Demonstrate your skills in building and maintaining virtual environments using VMware.
• Take charge of ESXi hosts creation and proficiently utilize VMware vSphere.
• Familiarity with vSAN maintenance is preferable.

Networking Know-how:

• Possess a foundational understanding of TCP/IP.

Linux Proficiency (Preferred):

• Showcase your experience in Linux Administration, especially with RedHat Enterprise Linux.
• Master scripting languages like Bash, Python, etc.
• Configure Apache, bind (DNS), Postfix, and troubleshoot Linux systems.

Advanced Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge or experience in Citrix or VMware Horizon.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS or Azure.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in Japanese and English (for internal communications).
• Proven experience in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in hardware support, specifically RAID configurations.
• Virtualization skills with VMware, including ESXi and vSphere.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Preferred experience in Linux Administration, specifically with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, etc.
• Familiarity with Citrix or VMware Horizon is a plus.
• Cloud knowledge or experience, particularly with AWS or Azure.

SALARY and OTHERS
Location: Midtown, NY (or Remote)
Working Hours: Mon – Fri  (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
Salary: DOE (USD 68,000-90,000)
