JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Analyze new land acquisition and project development opportunities, primarily for
multifamily development joint ventures.
•Prepare sensitivity analyses as part of acquisition, disposition, and yearly project business
plan updates.
•Collaborate with Development Management and Acquisition & Disposition team
members to review project documents and financial and project reporting from joint venture
partners.
•Monitor business plans and budget implementation jointly with Development
Management and Acquisition & Disposition team members.
•Monitor property management and leasing plans and activities jointly with team
members
•Create and update project reports, under the Head of Investment’s direction, for senior
management review.
•Assist with the coordination of project information with accounting and finance teams.
•Create supporting documents for approval or reports to be submitted to the head office
•Attend and participate in meetings/calls with head office
•Support Head of Investment for overall portfolio strategy and companywide business plan.
•Monitor overall economic environment, real estate market, development legislation,
regulations, and policies.
•Maintain an in-depth understanding of regional markets, including relevant development
pipelines and competitive sets to help inform investment and disposition decisions.
•Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested.
•Travel for site visits and walk throughs, or to attend key meetings as needed.
•Reinforce company culture and values of truth, trust, sustainability and diversity.  
•Represents the company’s values to all stakeholders, from SHL senior management to all
levels of staff. Demonstrates respect for ethnic diversity and different cultures.
•Perform all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Understanding of IRR, NPV, GAAP Gross and Net Margins, and technical jargon in real
estate industry.

•Proficiency in the following:
•Statistical Analysis
•Financial planning and strategy
•Analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
•Real Estate Project Knowledge

•Advanced Microsoft Office skills: must be proficient in managing spreadsheets and project
plans in Excel and ability to create presentations in PowerPoint. Proficiency with video
conferencing software and project management tools.
•Excellent ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and agreements; and implement
relevant provisions as needed.
•Strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail; ability to lead
teams and accomplish deliverables within required timeframes. Ability to effectively manage
multiple priorities.
•Effective and persuasive presentation skills on controversial or complex topics to top
management.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

BENEFITS
Salary Range: USD150K-170K
