POSITION TITLE Baker

 

POSITION SUMMARY

A highly popular local bakery in Orange County is currently seeking an experienced baker to join its production team. 

The selected candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of breads and pastries for three retail locations as well as wholesale distribution. The role requires maintaining strict standards of quality and safety, contributing to the development of seasonal products, and ensuring a clean and well-organized work environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare dough, manage fermentation, shape, and bake bread

  • Produce steamed buns (e.g., meat buns, sweet bean buns) and baked goods

  • Develop and refine recipes using seasonal ingredients

  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment

  • Manage inventory, inspect deliveries, and organize stock

  • Collaborate with team members and delivery staff

  • Work with the store manager to improve operations and support team growth

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of baking experience

  • Skilled in full-cycle production from scratch

  • Proficient in English (Japanese or Spanish is a plus)

  • No formal education required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

 

LOCATION Fountain Valley, CA

 

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time position

  • Shift-based schedule (8–10 hours/day, may vary during peak seasons)

  • Night shifts required (typically 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

  • 1–2 days off per week

 

SALARY Hourly wage: $23 (paid bi-weekly)
