Responsibilities:
Preparing bank deposit and posting general ledgers
Managing and reconciling Cash and Bank Accounts
Maintaining supportive documents and worksheets
Accurately perform data entry tasks
Reconciling invoices and identify discrepancies
Managing income and expenditure accounts
Reviewing expenses incurred
Maintaining the assets and liabilities of the company
Maintaining general ledgers
Preparing tax filings
Resolving accounting anomalies
Preparing monthly financial statements using sets of data analysis for relevant patterns and financial
indicators
Aiding Auditors in preparation of the audit process
Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company
Assisting with other accounting-related duties
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (Preferred)
Minimum 1-2 year experience working in accounting or related field (Preferred)
Entertainment industry experience (Preferred)
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Tools
Accounting software SAP (Preferred)
Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with finance regulations; US GAAP and IFRS
Highly detail oriented
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Strong planning and organization skills
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Fluent in both English and Japanese (Preferred)
