Senior IT Auditor

The Senior IT Auditor supports internal audits and advisory projects aimed at assessing controls, IT projects, and business processes. They provide guidance on cybersecurity, ensuring the effectiveness of controls and facilitating system improvements. Additionally, they contribute to IT audit processes, documentation, and provide support for audits in North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits.
• Contribute to risk-based audits with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Aid in the development of policies.
• Conduct cybersecurity control testing and audits at subsidiary locations.
• Participate in IT-related projects and ad-hoc audits.
• Communicate control gaps and recommendations to subsidiary management.
• Provide insights to enhance the control environment.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity standards and improve the Technology Audit program.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or Business.
• Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, or equivalent, with 3-7 years of experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST, COSO, and COBIT.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and IT audit domains.
• Knowledge of internal control concepts and JSOX/SOX.
• Experience with AuditBoard or similar software is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to engage with individuals at various organizational levels.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated capacity for exercising independent and objective judgment

SALARY/OTHERS

• Salary - USD 85,000 - 115,000 
• General office environment with occasional travel.
• Hybrid position, requiring two days in-office per week (San Francisco office).
