POSITION SUMMARY
A Japanese semiconductor and electronic materials company seeks a motivated, detail-oriented individual for a customer service and administrative support role. The candidate will handle customer interactions and administrative processes to support sales divisions. This role offers hands-on experience and training from experienced team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process customer orders and manage transactions in the ERP system.
- Ensure proper document retention and compliance with internal controls.
- Facilitate communication with customers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Manage inventory records and support accounting with AR/AP inquiries.
- Participate in team meetings, support audits, and follow trade compliance procedures.
- Collect and process expense invoices for timely payment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Japanese and/or Spanish is a plus)
- Ability to perform routine tasks successfully, maintain time-management and organization, adapt to workload changes, and ensure attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong people skills, capable of building relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners, and working effectively in a team environment
- Previous work experience in customer service preferred
- Trade business (import/export) background/experience preferred
- Experience in MS Dynamics ERP preferred
BASE SALARY USD58,000-62,000 (DOE)
LOCATION Austin, TX
WORK STYLE Hybrid (3 times/week in the office)
