POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will be responsible for business development and marketing in the field of optical communication components, working closely with R&D departments, customers, and partners to create new business opportunities in the U.S. market.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and utilize technologies, products, and ecosystems related to fiber optics and compound semiconductor-based optical communications.
Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and strategic partnership opportunities.
Build and maintain a network of potential business partners to foster strategic relationships.
Identify future customer needs and develop effective plans to address them.
Collaborate with partners to create innovative solutions for customer challenges.
Provide strategic and technical support to internal departments to promote business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS・SKILLS・EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development within the optical communications or data center industry.
Coursework in Business Administration or Marketing is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and proposal development.
Self-motivated and proactive learner with strong problem-solving abilities.
Basic knowledge of fiber optic communication, cabling, connectors, network components, and compound semiconductor technologies.
Experience working with hyperscale data center companies, suppliers, or related ecosystems.
Proven track record in business development, market research, and partnership building.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex market data.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strategic thinking and ability to propose innovative solutions.
Leadership skills and ability to drive change.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Japanese language proficiency is a plus for communication with Japanese counterparts.
