JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the accounting department.
To fulfil the responsibilities, Candidate is required to:
- Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
- Prepares periodic balance sheets, profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the general ledge.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections,
- Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedule.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have:
- Good analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
- Prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills preferred.
- Ability to communicate and work with HQ in Japan and other offices worldwide.
- Knowledge of Japanese language is a plus.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's / Master's in Accounting
SALARY
USD 50,000- 70,000
