POSITION TITLE Software Systems Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY In this position, you will act as a bridge between a Japan-based software development team and a North America manufacturing site, supporting the stable operation of mass-produced products. The role focuses on software operations, issue coordination, and release management, requiring strong communication and coordination skills rather than hands-on programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a bridge engineer between the Japan development team and the North America manufacturing site
Collect, organize, and coordinate software issues and mass production challenges from the factory
Request analysis from the development team and summarize results and countermeasures
Provide feedback and support implementation of solutions at the manufacturing site
Manage software releases and register released software in the BOM management system
Coordinate issue resolution, progress tracking, and escalation among stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in English and Japanese
Basic understanding of IT and software development processes
Strong communication and coordination skills
Comfortable working in a multicultural, global environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in manufacturing, especially mass production environments
Background in software development or quality assurance
Experience using BOM management systems
Experience in automation, scripting, or troubleshooting
