POSITION TITLE Controls Engineer Japanese Bilingual
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will be responsible for the design, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems, delivering high-quality solutions to manufacturing clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop industrial control systems for custom automation equipment
Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs from scratch
Design HMI applications and operator interfaces
Perform system integration, testing, and optimization
Support machine startup, debugging, FAT, and SAT activities
Collaborate with customers on technical requirements and provide solutions
Maintain technical documentation including drawings, code, and manuals
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control-related issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Japanese (native or business-level proficiency, required)
English (working proficiency)
Minimum 3 years of controls engineering experience
Experience developing PLC systems from scratch
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Strong troubleshooting skills
The candidate needs to report to the office every day.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Experience with automotive or welding automation systems
Experience with servo/motion control or machine vision
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical
SALARY USD100,000-130,000
