Position Overview
An IT company is seeking experienced cybersecurity professionals to support incident response and security operations during U.S. business hours. This position will be based at the client’s site in Tempe, Arizona.
This role will focus on incident investigation, threat analysis, digital forensics, security monitoring, and operational improvements while working closely with both U.S. and Japan-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze cybersecurity incidents across enterprise environments
Monitor security alerts and perform threat analysis
Conduct incident response and digital forensic investigations
Review logs, artifacts, and security data to identify potential threats
Perform triage activities and escalate incidents when appropriate
Support threat detection, monitoring, and response initiatives
Develop and enhance security playbooks, procedures, and operational workflows
Assist in the creation and maintenance of security policies and documentation
Collaborate with compliance, audit, and risk management teams
Prepare reports on security activities, trends, and emerging threats
Research evolving cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies
Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations or Information Security
Hands-on experience in Incident Response, SOC Operations, or Threat Analysis
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructures
Strong log analysis and security data correlation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, SANS, or other relevant security certifications
Experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR)
Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
Experience supporting highly regulated industries such as financial services
Familiarity with threat hunting and advanced security operations

$90,000 - $120,000 + Benefits
Working Hours
Monday-Friday. 12am- 8pm/PST (fixed schedule)
