POSITION TITLE Senior HR / General Affairs Generalist
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will be responsible for a broad range of human resources and general administration functions, including performance evaluation, payroll operations, recruiting, employee training, benefits administration, and compliance. This role plays a key part in supporting organizational effectiveness through data-driven HR operations and process improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and operate the performance evaluation system, including data aggregation and file management
Create and improve HR data files using advanced Excel macros
Provide regular training for evaluators and new hires
Support compensation planning, salary research, and payroll-related data management
Assist with payroll processing, including retirement plan contributions
Support recruiting activities, conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews
Research and enhance employee training and self-development programs
Manage benefits administration and support legal compliance
Facilitate special projects, including research and presentation preparation
Provide English–Japanese and Japanese–English document translation as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in human resources and/or general administration
Advanced Excel skills, including macro and formula development
Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese(Writing, Reading, Speaking, Listening)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with payroll systems such as ADP
