POSITION SUMMARY
The FP&A & Commercial Finance Manager serves as a key business partner to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting, providing financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making. This role drives revenue growth and margin improvement through actionable financial insights, pricing analysis, and commercial finance support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business objectives.
Develop and maintain financial models for sales forecasting, operating expenses, gross margin, and working capital analysis.
Analyze customer, product, and SKU profitability to identify growth and margin improvement opportunities.
Partner with Sales on pricing strategies, customer proposals, promotions, and commercial decision-making.
Conduct variance analysis on sales, volume, mix, price, cost, freight, and promotional spending.
Prepare executive reports, KPI dashboards, and management presentations.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Accounting to support business initiatives.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability, forecast accuracy, and operational performance.
Support business cases, strategic projects, and new product or customer initiatives.
Drive reporting enhancements, process improvements, and data quality initiatives related to FP&A and commercial finance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
5-8+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis.
Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
Experience conducting profitability analysis and supporting business performance reporting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and provide actionable business recommendations.
CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced certifications are a plus.
SALARY USD 140,000-175,000 (DOE)
