POSITION TITLE Asset Manager – Real Estate Investment
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will focus on sourcing and evaluating real estate investment opportunities in the United States using the firm’s own balance sheet. The role involves hands-on participation in the early stages of investment, from deal origination through initial screening and preliminary due diligence, working closely with local market participants.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Source new real estate investment opportunities in the U.S. market
Identify deals through local networks, including brokers and developers
Conduct initial investment analysis and deal screening
Support early-stage due diligence for investment decision-making
Perform preliminary physical and technical assessments of properties
QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English
Approximately 3–4 years of professional experience in the U.S. real estate industry
Ability to work hands-on in a principal investment environment
Strong relationship-building skills with local market participants
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with residential or logistics assets in investment, development, or operations
Technical background with the ability to understand building and development projects
(e.g., design, construction, EPC, or developer experience)
Strong practical judgment and responsiveness in executing investments
