POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for driving new business development and expand existing key accounts within the food service and retail sectors, while leading sales initiatives in your assigned territory and supporting the growth and development of other sales professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new customers through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation
Maintain and expand relationships with existing key accounts
Create and execute cross-selling and up-selling strategies to increase customer spend
Own and manage sales opportunities from lead generation through closing
Travel to customer and prospect sites to support and secure business
Collaborate with internal sales teams and cross-functional partners
Lead new business development initiatives and provide coaching to sales team members
Communicate market needs and customer feedback internally
Prepare and submit sales activity and performance reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the food industry
Strong new business development and account management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Ability to travel extensively
SALARY USD $ 79,254 – 99,067
