POSITION TITLE Senior Analyst, Portfolio & Asset Management
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will support portfolio and asset management activities across real estate investments, assist in evaluating and executing new development opportunities, contribute to risk management processes, and facilitate reporting and communication with key stakeholders to support investment performance and business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor existing real estate investments, including project performance, financial status, leasing activity, refinancing, disposition processes, and other portfolio-related matters
Coordinate with asset managers, property managers, joint venture partners, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders
Support the evaluation and underwriting of new real estate investment and development opportunities
Support strategic development initiatives involving innovative construction and development approaches
Review business plans, market research, financial models, investment assumptions, and key project risks
Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, internal approval materials, and management presentations
Support risk management, issue tracking, portfolio reporting, and investment monitoring activities
Coordinate with headquarters and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and information flow
Assist with reporting and communications for international stakeholders and investors
Maintain investment documentation, contracts, project records, and meeting materials
Coordinate meetings, maintain action-item tracking, and support project administration activities
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in real estate investment, development, asset management, finance, investment banking, consulting, or related fields
Ability to understand and analyze financial models, investment materials, business plans, and market data
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Business-level English communication skills
Japanese language capability for reporting and documentation
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of real estate joint ventures, lending, refinancing, asset disposition, impairment, and default situations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize key issues and deadlines
Demonstrated willingness to learn new business areas and collaborate effectively across teams
