COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client, a North America-based information technology company and the U.S. subsidiary of a leading Japan-based IT group, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer (Japanese Bilingual) to support corporate clients with IT infrastructure implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of enterprise technologies while supporting Japanese and multinational clients across the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Configure and deploy servers, PCs, networking equipment, telephony systems, and related software for client environments.
Perform on-site installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure solutions (business travel required)
Provide remote and on-site technical support for servers, PCs, networks, telephony systems, and software applications.
Support day-to-day administration and maintenance of client IT environments.
Prepare installation records, work reports, project documentation, and technical procedures.
Document troubleshooting activities and maintain knowledge bases for future reference.
Report project status, implementation progress, and technical issues to team leaders and project managers.
Conduct product research and technology trend analysis as assigned.
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and recommendations for clients.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
QUALIFICATIONS
Business-level Japanese language proficiency required.
Experience supporting IT infrastructure environments, including server, network, and end-user systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and other enterprise software solutions.
Experience with network technologies and products such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and related platforms.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Unix/Linux administration and maintenance.
Understanding of endpoint security solutions and general IT security best practices.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, virtualization, and storage environments.
Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
Ability to travel for client implementation and support activities.
SALARY USD55,000-80,000/year
(Higher compensation may be considered based on skills and experience.)
