International Corporate Banking Officer (Japanese Speaking)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value client relationships across loan and deposit products while maintaining strong profitability and risk management standards
Support relationship management efforts by assisting with client servicing, onboarding new clients, and responding to inquiries
Handle a range of banking operations including account opening, wire transfers, overdraft monitoring, loan processing, documentation, and portfolio maintenance
Monitor credit quality by tracking financial trends, managing renewals, minimizing delinquencies, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through the promotion of deposit, loan, and related financial products and services
Participate in business and community groups to strengthen client networks and enhance market presence
Where applicable, oversee business unit compliance activities, including regulatory risk assessment, policy implementation, training coordination, and audit support
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
6 or more years of experience in relationship banking with high-net-worth individuals and/or business clients for the International Banking Officer III level
7 or more years of relevant experience for the Senior International Banking Officer level
Fluency in spoken and written Japanese
Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of credit management practices and regulatory compliance requirements
Proficiency in standard office tools and ability to work effectively in a professional office environment
