POSITION SUMMARY
A Japan-affiliated company that operates a B2B business focused on the North American market is seeking a Customer Service Associate.
This is an entry-level position. The role provides hands-on training in core business operations such as quoting, order processing, and customer communication, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates who are eager to build a long-term career in a professional office environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders using the company’s internal system
Handle customer inquiries primarily via email, including needs assessment and relationship building
Coordinate the sourcing and procurement of products or parts based on customer requirements
Enter, maintain, and manage accurate records for quotes, orders, and customer information
Track order status and coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed
Support the resolution of routine shipping or order-related issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
Business-level English proficiency
Strong willingness to learn new tasks and acquire new knowledge
High attention to detail and accuracy
Commitment to professionalism and basic business etiquette
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Basic computer skills, including comfort using email, Excel, Word, and internal business systems

EMPLOYMENT TYPE Non-Exempt (Hourly)
SALARY USD 35,000 – 45,000
Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
