POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will support investment manager research and related operational activities covering the asset management industry, asset managers, and investment products. The role involves close collaboration with team members and senior management to deliver research materials, reports, and administrative support, while contributing to the efficient execution of investment research and departmental operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support research and analysis on the asset management industry, asset managers, and investment products, utilizing external databases
Assist in the preparation of performance reports, strategy presentations, and industry materials, including data visualization and content drafting
Provide ad-hoc support to team members and senior management, including urgent requests and coordination of internal and external communications
Maintain and update internal databases related to asset management research
Coordinate meetings with investment managers and external parties, including scheduling, logistics, in-meeting support, and meeting documentation
Prepare internal approval documents, arrange business travel, and process expense reimbursements
Perform fee calculations and support related operational processes
Provide administrative support for research activities and departmental operations, including IT software and infrastructure setup
Liaise with overseas teams based in Japan on relevant activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required; finance, economics, business, or accounting preferred
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal)
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to support material preparation and respond to internal and external requests
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Strong compliance awareness and understanding of operational risks and relevant regulations
SALARY USD $95,000-105,000
